Portia is a Landscape Architect. For many years she has designed public parks and gardens and spent much of her life working with plants and the natural environment. She loves the natural world and has recently started making jewellery from sea glass she has collected on beach walks over the years.
Each piece is unique, so no two items of jewellery can ever be the same. The colours of sea glass vary, but are mostly soft greens, blues and white, although occasionally other colours appear on the beach.
These photos are examples of the necklaces, bracelets, anklets and earrings she makes at her home in East Molesey. Total chain lengths are indicated, including clasps and fixings.
