Freda Anderson

Freda studied art for 10 years with one of the leading South African artists, Cecily Sash.

Freda was chairman and then President of Sunbury Art Group and has been a member of Molesey Art Society for about 25 years. She has exhibited regularly at the Mall Galleries with the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours and with the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and exhibited with the Pastel Society, the Society of Women Artists and the Society of British Artists. Her main subject is portraiture and she loves working in watercolours, pastels and oils.

Freda and her late husband ran painting holidays at a chateau in France for 14 years and demonstrated and ran workshops for many art societies in Surrey for 30 years.  She loves teaching and hopes to have small groups at her new home in Molesey, as soon as Covid 19 is under control.
