Peter Lamb

My artistic quest shifts back and forth from a purely figurative exploration of subjects to impressionistic and semi abstract modes of expression. Portraits, still life and animals feature in my portfolio, but the majority of paintings are responses to landscapes with whichI feel a special affinity. An avid walker, I draw particular inspiration from hiking across uplands that bear the marks of distant history. I am fascinated by ruins, standing stones and ancient sacred sites. I have exhibited in WestLondon where I live, and my work has been bought privately and at local artfairs.
